Received this email today around 1.

This was from a woman named Sandy:

I called Steve a little bit ago. He said that the team landed in Nairobi on schedule. They were an hour late leaving the airport to go to the hotel for the night. But Steve stated all of them are fine. He has spoken with the van driver, Francis.

I have not heard from Emily or anyone else on the team. But they probably had a really long welcome once they got to the orphanage. It is a little after 9 p.m. there right now. Maybe we will hear from them a little later today. I feel confident that they are OK. It is a very long and rugged ride from Nairobi to the orphanage.

I will send an email immediately when I do hear from anyone. Please do the same. I know we all want to hear asap.

They have arrived! Emily just called - so good to hear her voice. The travel went well - "smooth as silk" - all are fine. Getting settled in for the night. Sunday's comin!
